Liberation U

A people powered university

Changing the world from the inside out

Liberation U is a living learning ecosystem built for those who are ready to take transformation seriously, who understand that the personal and the political are not separate domains, and that genuine transformation moves through the body, the community, and the spirit at once.

For practitioners, educators, and creators ready to take their place in the revolution of healing and liberation.
Our work together cultivates courageous space to explore:

  • Transforming practice into praxis: shifting from personal growth to collective transformation through justice-centered, liberation-focused work

  • Reimagining relationships: exploring revolutionary approaches to love, relationship diversity, and relationship anarchy as pathways to freedom

  • Decolonial frameworks for modern practice: integrating anti-oppressive, abolitionist, and community-rooted approaches that honor ancestral and embodied wisdom

  • Ethical integration of the sacred: weaving indigenous knowledge, somatic traditions, and spiritual practices with integrity, consent, and cultural respect

  • Liberation in action: building sustainable, people-powered models of education, healing, and community transformation

Transformative learning experiences designed to catalyze radical change in how we live, love, lead, and heal.

Why I Built This

I have been in the university classroom since 2010, designing courses, training clinicians, and watching brilliant practitioners leave their graduate programs with rigorous theory and almost no tools for doing liberatory work in the real world.

I built Liberation U because the gap between what our communities need and what traditional academic institutions are willing to offer has never been acceptable to me. Fifteen years of curriculum design, graduate level teaching, and training other practitioners taught me what transformative education actually requires: it requires intellectual rigor, yes, but also embodied presence, political clarity, and the kind of radical honesty that most institutions are too invested in their own survival to practice.

Liberation U exists because education that does not serve liberation is not education worth having, and because the healers and revolutionaries doing this work in the world deserve something built specifically for them.
